I recently had a tooth extraction done here , and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Dr. Boyack and his assistant, Angel, were incredibly friendly and professional. They made sure to explain everything clearly throughout the entire process. The extraction itself was quick and smooth, and thanks to their great care, the healing process went well! The front desk staff, especially Veronica, was also fantastic. She was very helpful and answered all my questions with patience and kindness. I also really appreciated that the office worked with my budget and even applied a loyalty membership discount, which helped take a lot of the stress out of the situation. Overall, everyone was kind, thorough, and made the entire experience as comfortable as possible. I 100% recommend them! ~ M W

I looked for dentistry around this new area, saw Genesis Dental. Decided to call to see what I can do about this ache and infection that I had for a couple of nights. Scheduled me for 7am the next morning. Even though I was a little over 30 min late, they still got me right in. Thank you Madeline for your patience and understanding. After Veronica got me seated and and comfy Dr Boyack came right in, looked at the tooth and gave me my options as to how to proceed. Chose what I wanted to do. Madeline kindly gave me the financial route we could take, since I had no insurance! Seriously friendly and understanding staff! No more pain. I know they say no pain no gain, but I think I gained all that I needed from that pain. LOL Thank you Genesis staff for everything. See you in a couple of weeks! ~ Ruta F

Genesis Dental and especially Teisha has always gone above and beyond to help me. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and I can't overstate how much it has meant to go to these appointments and feel remembered and genuinely cared for. Even when I naively set up an appointment right before surgery not knowing they wouldn't really be able to do a cleaning, they polished my teeth and I didn't even know until much later that they hadn't been able to bill for it. They never made me feel bad or embarrassed, just rolling with me and all the punches. They have been so patient with me and helped me in any way they could, including keeping my costs as low as possible. Thank you to Teisha, Angel, Dr. Jensen, and Dr. Boyack for making a little part of the many hard things I'm facing right now easier. ~ Melanie C

I start my new job in a week. So right now I have no insurance. Of course I get a tooth ache. I called Genesis Dental asking what are the chances of getting in asap? They were so understanding, and got me in within an hour. They did a quick X-ray and told me what was wrong I had and abscess that needed antibiotics. The whole appointment cost about $115 which I thought was very reasonable. The antibiotics cost me $4 with no insurance. I have to take the pills for 7 days. Just in time for my insurance to start. Thank you again for your help and understanding I'm in pain. I'm at Day one with that antibiotics let's see how it all turns out. Thank you Genesis Dental! The staff was very friendly they gave me an update on when the dr will be in and everyone was very friendly and nice and very understanding. ~ Dez H

Dr. Jensen is AMAZING! friendly and knowledgeable. He takes time to make each patient feel like he has all the time in the world for them. I have been SO impressed: these people are friendly, professional, reasonably priced, AND communicative about my dental treatments! They took the time to explain my dental status and to go over a proposed treatment plan! No hidden costs or surprises, the environment and professionalism are wholesome, and I feel I am being treated like a friend or family member! Anesthesiologist is very nice , positive and patient with a "wuss" like me. Front desk ladies are personable and very friendly with the patients or I should just say that the entire staff is amazing! I have been a patient of Dr.Jensen’s for over 12 years. I recently moved back to the area and after a poor experience at a different dental office, I returned to his care. I have been into this office easily 8-10 times in the past 2 years. The staff is always super helpful and welcoming. Dr.Jensen and Angel have frequently helped me through many procedures including a tooth extraction, a dental implant, a root canal, and various crowns. Dr. Jensen delivers the most thoughtful, experienced, and well-intentioned care. Angel is always making sure I feel comfortable and excellent at assisting with the work. My whole family loves Genesis Dental! They do such an amazing thorough job every time we go. The staff is so helpful and friendly all around. I see the hygienist, Teisha, every time I go, and she is a great! She explains everything she is doing and has given great advice on how to keep my teeth healthy. She is so personable also! My kids both see Kaoly (sp), and love her! They both have had to have some work done but don’t dread going to the dentist because she has made it a nice atmosphere for them. She is patient and so sweet with them. Last but not least Dr. Jensen is the best! He is nice, great with my kids, honest, and tells you his honest opinion. After avoiding the dentist for over a decade due to trauma and other things I finally reached a point of no return. I was in so much pain that avoiding the dentist was no long longer an option. I called Dr. Jensens and they got me in right away. I was scared of the comments I might get about my mouth or the length of time it's been since seeing a dentist but to my surprise there was none. I was told two teeth needed pulled. After the first it was clear I was struggling but moving forward Dr. Jensen did everything he could to help keep me comfortable. His staff was so kind and compassionate as they cared for me through panic attacks and tears. This was not an easy thing for me but he and his staff went above and beyond for me during those emergency visits. I can't thank them enough. I have a regular cleaning scheduled and fully intend to continue seeing Dr. Jensen. ~ Sam

The staff there is hands down the best. Both Amy's yes there are two. Victoria and jJuiliann, Teisha, Dr Jensen are very professional and so kind and polite just great down to earth people they make you feel like family and to all the staff there. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND This dental office just because of the staff there working. Every one of them deserve a raise for going above and beyond there assigned tasks. Genesis give these lovely people a raise at the very least. I had an outstanding experience at Genesis Dental getting my cavity taken care of. The front desk staff was welcoming and efficient, and I was seen right on time. The dentist and assistants were professional, kind, and very thorough in explaining each step of the procedure. The treatment itself was quick, smooth, and completely pain-free. I never thought that I would write a review for a dental office because I’ve feared the dentist since I was little! I have a bad gag reflex, TMJ, and anxiety- so it’s safe to say I was dreading my appointment earlier this week. I had Kao Ly for a cleaning and she made it my best experience ever! She worked cautiously and always warned me before reaching further to my back teeth. She made sure I felt comfortable and only proceeded when I told her I was ready. She was very caring and friendly. She used hand tools instead of the water machine for the cleaning, because she knows the water machine effects the gag reflex sometimes. She didn’t want to take any chances, which I appreciated so much! On top of all this, it was her birthday! She was still working and didn’t mind staying longer with me and working slow to ensure I was alright. Great experience! I’m not even scared for my next visit :) ~ Chelsea B

As a new patient, I came with the intent of resetting my dental experience. I really had not had great prior experience with my last few dentists, and was apprehensive about starting yet another mediocre experience with a new provider. I was gratefully surprised at the level of care and attention I received. Teisha, the hygienist who cared for me, was knowledgeable, considerate of my comfort level and understanding of each stage of the cleaning and exam process. I tried out Genesis Dental of South Jordan after a long hiatus from dentists in general. Dentists make me very nervous, and I've had some bad experiences in the past where dentists make me feel bad about my teeth. I've had the opposite experience with Genesis Dental! They were so kind and great at explaining without getting condescending. I also had a unique situation where I had to get some extensive procedures done before I moved out of the country. They were so helpful and got me worked in so quickly! Ariel helped out with my fillings and placing a temporary crown, and she was very gentle throughout the procedures. Teisha did my cleaning, and she was so considerate, asking if I was ok throughout the whole cleaning! Plus, Dr. J is a really nice, knowledgeable dentist. Everyone there has been great. I travel extensively for my job, and I found myself out of town when my cleaning was due. My hometown dentist couldn't accommodate my weird schedule this time, so I found myself in need of a hygenist in South Jordan, Utah. After doing some research, I picked Genesis, and am I ever glad I did! The folks there were happy to help and managed to schedule me in at the drop of a hat. The people there were friendly and professional, and my visit went flawlessly. To top off a stellar customer experience, they charged next to nothing for the cleaning since I was a new patient! I was really nervous to go to the dentist. It had been a long time since my last visit. The hygienist, assistant, and dentist were all so wonderful to work with. They gave me simple and helpful directions, made expectations clear, and were very positive about my teeth and hygiene habits. Other dentists I’ve worked with made me feel ashamed for some of my worse habits. This team made me feel good about myself and helped move me in the right direction! I love Genesis Dental in the District. Everyone there is amazing. They treat you like family. Teisha and Aislynn clean your teeth so good. I never want to eat after they clean them cause they feel so clean and look great. Dr Jensen is the best doctor, he always listens to you and your concerns. Amy and Veronica at the front desk make you feel welcome, always greet you by name and never make you feel like just a patient. I love Angel and Amy 2 also. Genesis Dental is great. The office is always very clean. The equipment is up-to-date. I wouldn't go to a dentist with an untidy or shabby office. Each time I go, I do not have to wait and I am very efficiently in and out with a thorough cleaning and am extremely satisfied with service. Dr. Boyack and my hygienist Teisha are seriously top notch! Ready for this? I hadn't seen a dentist in, gulp, 10 years. 10 YEARS! I had a bad experience the last time I'd gone and it horrified me to go see anyone - when my husband suggested I go for a cleaning, I would start crying. It was awful. Long story short, I had a tooth crack (probably from not going to the dentist for 10 years...) and I had to get in immediately. Dr. Jensen and the team at Genesis Dental couldn't have been BETTER. They were AMAZING at making me feel calm and relaxed, I had no pain during all the procedures, and though I ended up having to have oral surgery for an implant, Dr. Jensen's sweet bedside manner and always making sure I was okay meant the WORLD to me. I am a LOYAL customer now, and though we have lots of work to do to redo the last 10 years of 'damage' that was done, I am actually excited to get in there and get everything fixed up. I recently relocated to South Jordan, Utah, and needed to find a new dentist. My first appointment at Genesis Dental went very well. The hygienist, Teisha, was very gentle and patient. I love my tea! Teisha took all the time needed to thoroughly remove the staining from my teeth. I think I received the best cleaning ever and I loved her friendly manner. The dentist, Dr. Boyack, recommended that two crowns be replaced. He helped me understand the reasoning for this. I do not like the tyranny of the urgent so I asked if I could schedule two different appointments, put some time between these procedures, and wait a few months to begin. The answer to all of these questions was yes. I found Dr. Boyack to be both professional and accommodating. Also, Genesis Dental has a great insurance plan you can buy into very inexpensively. And, their front office personnel answered all of my questions about payment, insurance, etc. with an extra measure of kindness. I highly recommend Genesis Dental. ~ Susi R
